Refining a DJ brand and website to better reflect experience, clarity, and professionalism.
DJ Beat Science began as a team client project focused on creating a logo, social media presence, and one-page website for Trevor Greenway, a local DJ with years of industry experience. The goal was to present his services more clearly online and position him more professionally for both music venues and corporate events.
After the initial version was completed, I revisited the website independently because I felt the first solution could be improved. My refinement focused on creating a stronger visual direction, clearer structure, and a more intentional digital presentation that better matched the client’s experience, personality, and business goals.

The redesign focused on giving the brand a more considered and polished online presence. I looked at how the visual identity could feel more confident and cohesive across the site, while also making the content easier to understand and navigate.
The structure was refined to better support the client’s goals, including clearer service presentation, stronger visual hierarchy, and a layout that felt more aligned with an experienced DJ promoting both live venues and private events.
By revisiting the project with a more critical eye, I was able to improve the website beyond the original team deliverable and create a result that felt more professional, more intentional, and better suited to the client.
