Wildlife PSA Campaign
A public service announcement campaign created to raise awareness about animal abandonment and encourage responsible pet ownership through strong visual communication.
A campaign promoting responsible pet ownership.
This project was completed as a team project, with my contribution focused on developing the final visual direction and design execution. I created the concept of placing large bold text behind the animal to strengthen the emotional impact of the message and create a more immediate visual connection for the viewer.
The campaign addresses the issue of animal abandonment and encourages responsible pet ownership through clear, emotionally driven communication. Strong imagery, bold typography, and careful composition were used to ensure the message was direct, memorable, and easy to understand at a glance.
Research, collaboration, and a strong visual concept.
The process began with research into animal welfare campaigns and the visual strategies used to communicate empathy, urgency, and responsibility. Because this was developed as a team project, collaboration helped shape the overall campaign direction, while I focused on translating the concept into a strong final design.
A key part of my approach was using bold text layered behind the animal to reinforce the message and create stronger contrast within the composition. This helped combine typography and imagery into one unified visual statement. Layout, hierarchy, and spacing were then refined to ensure the campaign remained clear, impactful, and visually balanced.
